Apple founder Steve Jobs, the mastermind behind the Apple products, has died. Jobs also was the co-founder of Pixar. The cause of death is thought to be pancreatic cancer.
Steve Jobs accomplished much in his 56 years of life. It goes without saying that we would not be where we are today in technology if it wasn't for Jobs. Apple began in 1976 when Jobs and Steve Wozniak created the first personal computer.
Remarkably, Jobs continued to innovate new products even through his battle with severe health problems. He was the leader in creating the iPod and revolutionized the way phones are today.
Rest in peace, Steve Jobs. He was truly an inspiration to all of us because of his leadership and innovative mind.
Truly, Steve Jobs is the face of Apple. His contributions to our society in the form of technology are enormous. How many of us own an iPod; as you said, that was a product that was engineered and implemented by Jobs in his attempts to improve the Apple product. His passing is a loss to all of us. He inspired many to work hard and follow their dreams in order to see the best product put out to market. Without him, where would we be? No iPod. No Toy Story. No advancement in technology as we know it. Thank you Mr. Jobs for everything!
ReplyDeleteI read an article this week that Mr. Jobs decided after only a semester that college wasn't for him. He said, that he didn't want to do what society had laid out for him, something many artists and entrepreneurs often choose. Can you imagine what life would be today if he didn't grow up in California and in the heart of where a lot of technology was born.
ReplyDeleteWe will miss his expertise and I thank him for making my life better, I have never purchased a pc and probably never will.
I’m glad somebody blogged about Steve Jobs! He deserves so much social media attention for his contributions! The man was fighting cancer for the past how many years and continued to run Apple and help generate its products. The success of this one man equals the success of ten men. I honestly cannot believe how much he has done for technology and Web 2.0. Steve was an inspiration to anyone. He valued hard work and it obviously showed. Great post Megan! Steve deserves it!
